XFL up for Sale

Vince McMahon is selling the XFL and now there are a bunch of bidders to get it. One of them is the NFL. There is also Disney and Fox. Fan of the XFL should mark their calendar for August 7th, because that's when it goes to court to see who can buy the XFL.

The Company that owns the XFL, Alpha Entertainment, made it official in April to files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy due to COVID-19 and laying off all of its employees

Accordingly, we have filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. This is a heartbreaking time for many, including our passionate fans, players and staff, and we are thankful to them, our television partners, and the many Americans who rallied to the XFL for the love of football."
