The 2023 college football season is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in recent memory (and last year was crazy). There are a number of marquee matchups that will have fans on the edge of their seats. Here are some of my favorite to look forward to this season.
Notre Dame vs. Navy (August 26th, 1:30pm, NBC) - What a great way to open College Football season than a game in Dublin, Ireland
Florida at Utah (August 31st, 7:00pm, ESPN) - Utah is at the top of the PAC 12 and Florida is building momentum from last season. This game could impact the playoffs.
Colorado at TCU (September 2nd, 2:30pm, FOX) - Coach Prime vs last year runner-up, going to be a fun one to watch.
Texas at Alabama (September 9th, 6:00pm, ESPN) - This game came to a field goal last year and I'm sure with home field advantage Saban will have is team ready this time, but don’t sleep on Texas.
Ohio State at Notre Dame (September 23rd, 6:30pm, NBC) - Playoffs impacted early in the season. Going to be the must-watch of the week.
Oklahoma vs Texas (October 7th, 11:00am, ABC) - Red River Showdown will be back to its glory days this season after a blowout last year.
Tennessee at Alabama (October 21st, TBD) - Alabama wants revenge after Tennessee stormed the field last year, I am predicting this game will have major impact on the SEC Championship game.
Utah at USC (October 21st, TBD) - PAC 12 Championship rematch.
Michigan at Penn State (November 11th, 11:00am, FOX) - This is an important game for Penn State as they try to improve their strength of schedule.
TCU at Oklahoma (November 24th, 11:00am, FOX) - Big 12 match-up that could meet again in the Big 12 Championship game.
Florida State at Florida (November 25th, TBD) - Both SEC teams are in rebuild mode, this game will set them up for a great bowl game.
Ohio State at Michigan (November 25th, 11:00am, FOX) - THE GAME.
